Those who have lost their lives to Cancer

In Memory of

Art Nelson

Art was my dad's friend from the Navy that I was introduced to here in Las Vegas. I managed his Ship Reunion Web site, which is still running in his honor. My favorite memory of him is he would receive a call from someone while I was visiting and he would tell them He could not talk now as his computer guy was here working on his website or computer. I loved hearing all his Navy stories.

He survived cancer but has passed away due to natural causes

In Memory of

Anita Wiggins

Anita was a partner Supervisor while I worked at the UPS Call Center in UPS.  She always had a smile on her face and was up to playing pranks on our teams.

My two favorite memories of her were whenever I was having a bad day at work because we were not performing well, I would get a box of Hostess Chocolate Cupcakes to remind me that life is not all that bad when you have a chocolate cupcake.

The other memory was when we played a practical joke on the team.  We had a management meeting, and She and I argued really loudly behind closed doors.  People thought oh Heck, what is going on?  We then stuck our heads out and said April Fools. LOL

She lost her battle with Cancer as she was retiring!

In Memory of

Michael Nohrden

Michael was a co-worker with me at UPS Teleservices.  When I became a supervisor there, he took me under his wing and showed me what was expected. I probably would not have stayed without his tutelage.

He did not survive his Lung Cancer Battle.
